Food was tasty if not spectacular. We started with a dish consisting of tender calamari floating in some kind of light, oily sauce and herbs. Also had the fregula with red sauce, clams, and saffron, which I found a little fishy. We probably won't go out of our way to go back here since there are so many other places to try, and it didn't wow us, but it's a good option.

Wonderful staff! Spoke to Janice Wells and She was very friendly and kind and helpful! Answered all my questions and even mailed me brochures/guides! Highly recommend Discover Torrance if your visiting Torrance and the South Bay! Janice also told me that they are opening a California Welcome Center at the Del Amo Fashion Center this year, 2021!

I only came here once. It was two days before the tiger attack. The zoo as a whole was pretty nice. Some of the exhibits were closed, and they didn't seem to have too many animals in some sections, but still a decent selection. The exhibits could be a little more updated. When I was looking at the tigers with my friend I was with I actually turned to him and said "huh, you think they could get out of there if they really wanted to." Oops.
