Smooth as possible delivery of some very heavy doors. Delivery people did their best, but it would have been so helpful for them (and for the doors) to have had a heavy duty type dolly that could navigate over bumpy, hilly wet grass terrain. Everyone/Everything would be better off if Discount could provide such a device to protect people and products. Absolutely atrocious customer service. You’d think when you spend $20,000 on windows and doors and simply need a replacement handle — since the one they shipped you was missing a component — and I offered to pay for a redundant part or replacement handle altogether that it wouldn’t take 6+ months and 15 emails to still NOT get the replacement part you’re asking for. Seriously, awful on all accounts. They also shipped me the wrong color handles to begin with.
I had an amazing experience with Discount Window and Door Company, and I especially want to thank Greg for his outstanding help throughout the process. He guided me through the selection and made everything go smoothly from start to finish. Even though my project was completed back in 2017, their support has never stopped. Anytime I’ve had an issue, I just make a quick call and they take care of everything—whether it’s a repair or replacement. They truly honor their lifetime warranty, which is rare these days. DO NOT waste your money at this store. Completely unprofessional and the worst service experience I’ve ever had. Here’s why: 1. Terrible communication – They reply to emails at a pace measured in weeks, not days. Sometimes I waited two to three weeks with no response. Calling them is pointless – nobody ever answers the phone. 2. I went to the store once to report the issues. Things seemed slightly better, but then the manager left.
