I called Discount Tire to set up an alignment check and possibly get my tires balanced due to vibrations in my steering wheel. When scheduling the appointment, I specifically mentioned that I might have a ball joint issue. After picking up my truck, I found out they only balanced the tires—no alignment check was done. Then they casually told me I have “significant play” in a ball joint but that they don’t do repairs because they’re just a tire shop. This was the best experience I have ever had at a discount tire and I will now only go to this location. They were pretty quick with helping. When I called to check in on anything they answered in a well manner, and we're especially funny. When I found out what was in my tire, I still can't believe that the object that was in it, was the reason why I had a flat tire today. A tire weight.
