Was just at the shop yesterday to get my tires balanced. I spent right at about three hours there After being told it was probably gonna take about an hour and a half. They didn’t even touch my truck for over an hour and a half just to get it back and have my aftermarket black wheels scarred up with a Couple of gouge marks like it got hit somehow. Went to Discount Tire for a simple flat repair. Shocker, they immediately tried to turn it into a tire sale. They said they might refuse to mount the tire back on the rim if they decide it’s “not repairable.” Basically, they want you to gamble on getting stranded if you don’t buy a new one. It’s clear they can patch it, but they’d rather pressure you into spending more. Total scammy upsell tactics, avoid this place. Picture shows proof, its at least 2 inches from sidewall.
