My wife stopped in for a nail in her tire and the tech told her she had 3 bad tires and needed new tires. Her tires have about 30K on them and have plenty of life left. Told her it would be about an hour wait and tried telling her there is no guarantee they could patch the hole. The tech was high fiveing another employee that they got someone to buy a set of tires. I’m tired of people taking advantage of women when it comes to vehicle maintenance.

I’m like Discount Tire. I’ve been coming to them for a long time. Although tires have gotten expensive over the years, I usually try to buy during Black Friday to get the best deals if I need new tires. They will sometimes try to upsell you, so you really have to make sure you truly need the tires or services they recommend. But for the most part, if you’re not interested, they usually back off and don’t pressure you.
