I like to give praise where praise is due. Yesterday I took one of our vehicles to Discount Tire to have the tires rotated and one of them repaired due to a slow leak. It's the 3rd time I've been in there in the a past 6 months or so. They are always so courteous, welcoming, friendly, and very efficient. Walked in this morning to have my tires checked, and was greeted right away. Appreciated the service given by Andrew and Zack. Needed a new tire which I paid for. They also repaired a valve on one tire and then rotated the tires, at no charge. Thank you! This kind of service is what keeps me coming back to your store!
I originally called the dealership that I bought my car from to get new tires, no help at all. They sold me my car and couldn't even tell me what tires were already on my car and refused to help me. Kept telling me I was giving the wrong number son my tire! There were no other numbers. I call yesterday and spoke with Steve, he was super nice to me and said just bring it in we have everything in stock that would fit on your vehicle. This store just made a customer for life. Even if I don't live as close in the future I will still bring my car here after today. I was quoted a price over the phone from another discount, took my vehicle to this discount thinking it's the same price as long as I got the same tire but it actually came out $100 more than I was told over the phone and I was thinking I was going to have to put some of my old tires back on they matched the price anyway without being able to talk to the guy who quoted me to verify it. I was quoted $620.00 for a new set of tires and installation at Pep Boys. I am getting my tires, installation, and maintenance package for $400.00 at Discount Tires. Discount didn't have the tires I wanted, so they got me into a better set of tires for the same price saving me another $32.00 dollars. Thank you to the rep at Discount Tire, David, for saving me this holiday season. You have won my forever business!
Price was a bit high for mounting and balancing 4 tires. $2.50 per tire to dispose and then $3.50 per tire to remove my old tires and $3.50 per tire to install my tires on top of the normal $16 per tire just because I have 17" rims. I paid $102 out the door just to have tires put on my old rims. Mind you these are on my truck. It is no harder to mount and dismount these tires than a 15" rim.
