Came in about 20 minutes before they closed .... after working a 10 hour shift got in my car just find the sensor light indicated I have low air pressure in the left front tire ....I thought they were just add air and send me on my way ...Jerry offered to check it out... they found a nail.... fixed the tire.... thanked me for coming again and sent me safely on my way ....now that’s what I call amazing customer service.... didn’t even complain because they had to stay late... thank you Discount Tires as a single mom who raise... read more
Went in to buy a used tire, great service and was given a great deal!
Discount tire in San Marcos is full of scammers taking advantage of customers who don't know any better. Go anywhere else. I watched them lie to people and try to sell them used tires. Every single customer was given the same sales pitch complete with bullshit charts and lies about tread depth. I will never buy tires here again. While I waited an hour I watched and recorded them. Exact same words used on every customer. It's an organized scam. They should be in jail.
I really appreciate them going to bat for me with Yokohama to get my idea replaced at a discount. They also made sure to get my car right back even after the appointment was lost to their system. Thanks.

Rude employees interrupt my sales transaction for a new tire to deal with a male Jaguar owning phone caller .I was left to wait after finally advancing to the front of the line in the middle of purchasing a tire. When I asked the employee if he could find someone else to deal with the call so that we could finish the transaction he smiled at me and said just a minute. My money will not go into the pocket of anyone that disregards me. Do not shop at Discount Tires!!
Five stars. Shop runs like a Swiss clock, fast pace, excellent and friendly service, huge stock, excellent prices. Shop around all you want of just make an appointment in this shop. Well worth the drive to start with the DT network tire care in San Marcos.
