I visited this Discount Tire location on Jan 19, 2026 to fix an issue with my tire: a stuck nail. After the terrible experience at the Wake Forest location (on 11212 Capital Blvd) that was a walk-in, I decided to make an appointment for this visit... the first time I had to do so. Called ahead was quoted a price for a spare tire by phone said I needed to place order in person with a deposit because they had to order the tire I needed-Was quoted $170.00 plus tax and mounting. I bought 4 wheel and tire combos for my 1998 GMC Seirra K1500 yesterday. When these were ordered I stressed to the salesman that I wanted glass bead weights inside the tires. Do not put external weights on the wheels. I was told we can do that. When the wheels and tires came in I was called by a store associate to schedule a appointment to put then on my truck. Save your money, your driveway, your engine, and another trip back to belle tire. Once again one of only 2 things that need to be tightened for an oil change was not tightened. Last time it was the filter this time it was the drain bolt. Don't bother replying saying I'm not in your system it was my girlfriend's car. Checked in for appointment 2 hours early for a nail in tire, and rotation. The customer service rep did not check us in and we sat waiting. Told 2 different customer service reps that we were still waiting for our appoint. Time and nothing was done. 1 hour after appt. Time we checked with them again only to find that we were still notchecked in! The text check in message does not work either! Never Again.! Beware they break it you pay for it! $208.57. When in for balance and tire rotation.3232 EAST CACTUS Manager told me one of my lug nuts was crossed threaded, but they could get it off broken at the stud. If it’s crossed threaded, you guys did it last time. You’re the only ones that do my tires. Manager tried to cover it butt instead of trying to help. Had to go to brake master’s #213. Best help ever. very disappointed in my continental tires.bought the replacement certificates and the 80000 mile tires been 40000 miles and the tires are shot.discount tire told me they would take care of me and they would call within 2 days.never heard from them.so sad.
Over 4 hours! That was how long I waited from the time this Discount Tire location checked me in to the time they finally brought my car went in to replace a full set of tires. It is by far the longest wait time I have ever experienced in my 20-year history as a customer of this business. Before that, the longest wait time I ever had at Discount Tire was almost two hours. I've been using Discount Tires for over 30 years in San Antonio, New Braunfels, Seguin and most recently San Marcos. I have to say that the San Marcos location is the worst! I had them install new tires on one of my vehicles a year ago along with new wipers. The new wipers have never worked well and within weeks I was having to put air in the new tires.
