I've been storing my business supplies here for 5 years. I'm able to add or subtract extra storage units as my inventory changes. This helps me save money by not paying for a half empty unit. Great staff. They've stayed late so I could finish unloading and return the rental truck saving me a extra day of rent on the truck! 5 STARS!
After calling around I found Discount is the cheapest mini- storage in Anchorage! I like the free heat in winter. It's owned by a nice old Alaskan guy. Great office staff. They stayed late 1/2 hr. so I could finish unloading the moving truck. Saved me a day's rent. Easy access with wide isles so other vehicles can pass. 5 STARS
CHEAPEST MINI-STORAGE IN ANCHORAGE!! I called around and Discount was $80 cheaper than any other storage company! Also has Free Heat in Winter.... Great Deals on Storage!! Nice helpful staff. I got some free packing boxes from the office when I ran short . They have a supply of recycled boxes if needed. I'd recommend Discount Storage to my friends.
I moved in November and needed to find a storage unit asap! I called around and Discount Storage had the best rates hands down. I really appreciate the fact that I did not have to spend extra for a heated storage unit. All of the employees were so helpful. I would recommend Discount Storage to everyone!!

I moved to Discount Storage 5 months ago after my rent was raised 3 times in 11 months! My previous storage facility offered a $29.99 move in for the first month. After going to their regular rate the next month, I thought that would be stable for the following months......NOT TRUE! 3rd month a $20 increase followed by a $15 increase the 5th month! $25 increase on the 9th month! I MOVED FROM ANOTHER STORAGE COMPANY TO DISCOUNT WHEN I GOT 2 RATE INCREASES IN 4 MONTHS! DISCOUNT WAS $40 CHEAPER THAN ANY OTHER STORAGE RATES I GOT IN ANCHORAGE. A friend told me about this place. Free heat in winter and cheap rental rates was the reason I chose Space Place Storage. The name was changed to DISCOUNT STORAGE last summer.I gave it 5 STARS for price, free heat, no sudden rate increase, access for my crewcab and 20 ft trailer, staff, and quick snow removal. SUPER place if you need extra storage. They even allowed me to rent an extra 10x10 for a week to sort and pack my mother-in -law's stuff when she moved to the Lower 48!
