Pure greed! I will tell every RV'er I run into to stay away from this place, Discount General RV in Dolthan, AL. Thank God no one was hurt. I think we should put flyers in every RV park we go to. The customer was told to stick that tire up their ass??? No business should be allowed to operate in this manner. Steps need to be taken, beginning with the local police, the BBB, the consumer protection agency and the AG. Used? The pictures say it all - Poor decision all around - we stand behind Spring Flower!
Beware of places like this especially if they ask for cash only. Lady online was ripped off on a used tire that the dealer refused to make good on.
On my way to Panama City we had issues with 2 tires blowing out on our 5th wheel. Our 17 year old daughter who was driving about an hour behind us stopped at Discount General RV in Dolthan, AL. The man who operated the store and helped us on the phone said he had an extra tire, not new but in super shape. He said when we made sure that the tire is really in good shape that " He would not kick a man when he is down on his luck" . He asked for $ 105 cash and that it was a steal. Shame on this man and business. Everyone avoid this business and his horrible practices. Selling unsafe tires and taking advantage of someone in trouble. Refusing to refund for the dangerous tire he sold. Karma is a bitch.
