We got Tom's name at the home show and called him for an estimate to build an patio cover with outdoor kitchen. My wife and I are both engineers so we are very picky. We talked to 5 different contractors but decided to go with Tom and Discount Contractors. His price was not the cheapest but we felt like he knew what he was doing. We contacted Tom after we went to the Home Show in July. We bought a house in garden oaks and wanted the kitchen remodeled and the whole house painted before we moved in. We had deadline to meet to move out of our apartment and into the house by Sept. 1st. We met with several other contractors besides Tom. We have never had any major remodeling done. We left our name at the home show and Tom called and set up an appointment. We wanted our kitchen upgraded. We had the cabinets refaced, granite installed, tile on the back splash, new lighting and the entire kitchen painted. Tom gave us a price on the spot and a few days later we contacted him to do the work. The kitchen is awesome. The price was very reasonable. The quality of work is very high. We had Sears out to look at the work on my house. We wanted total interior painting, new wood floors, tile in the kitchen, granite tops and cabinet refacing. Sears was over 30,000 for the work. That was more than we really wanted to spend. I saw Tom's website and filled out the form for an estimate. His price was 18k almost half of what Sears wanted. Our house is like new. We had been working with another contractor to completely remodel out kitchen. We want all new custom glazed cabinets. We started to get nervous about the pricing of the other contractor and the quality so I contacted Tom. He had done some painting and sheet rock work for us a few years ago and we were very pleased with his work. I call Tom and he came over and we went over the job. I just wanted to let you know we sold out house. I really appreciate you taking care of the black substance on some of the grout on one section of the glass blocks in the shower. I know it has been over 2 years since you remodeled the bathroom. You really do stand behind your work like you said you would. This is one happy customer. I have used Tom and Discount Contractors for over 10 years. He put vinyl siding on our house 10 years ago. He has remodeled our kitchen, do sheet rock work and we just had him paint the iron fence build a closet in the attic and replace some closed doors. He takes to worry out of remodeling. If I have a problem he always takes care of it. I highly recommend him for all your remodeling needs. Al

We are selling our house in the Woodlands and had a lot of cosmetic work that needed to be done to get it ready to sell.
