Read reviews here and on Yelp before visiting and our experience was everything others described, in that it was very positive, helpful, and professional. The selection of frames was eclectic and the knowledge of the staff and Joni was top-notch. We appreciated her candid opinions and willingness to show us many different styles.
I can't rave enough about this place. The all-female staff is absolutely lovely and make the process of finding new frames a blast. Emily helped me narrow down dozens of beautiful pairs to the one that I couldn't live without. I have a feeling that if I ever leave Iowa City, I'll be making an annual trip back to Discerning Eye! Thanks, ladies! �
