DO NOT TRUST! Although I never write negative reviews, I feel it is my responsibility as a dog/cat advocate to warn the public of this business. They do not treat pets with the care they deserve. They are overly aggressive (borderline abusive) and are a quantity over quality company. It appears their goal is to book as many dogs/cats as possible regardless of how long your pet has to be caged. I wish this was a standalone incident. Love It! So far I have only been here once but it was a great experience. I have an Akita/husky mix who at the time was only a puppy (probably around 8 months old) so he had a lot of energy, not to mention he wasn't very fond of a hair dryer. When I was told the cost I was very surprised, as most places we're much higher and did only the bath and drying, nothing else. I'm upset with myself I WISH so much, I had listened to Vivian... Our LOVABLE, GENTLE, SUPER INTELLIGENT 13 yr old Old English Sheepdog/terrier pup (about 80 lbs) and I will NEVER set foot in there again. The first time is the LAST. I told them about him, about his ACL replacement knee surgery about 3 years ago. I wrote it on the paper. I told them his regular groomer wasn't available...that he was super gentle, super smart, and had 6 radiation treatments for a cancerous tumor in his sinuses. Great Care For an Amazing Price I moved to Canton about three and a half years ago from a much larger city with my two dogs. Things were somewhat more expensive and finding a groomer that two fussy girls would like was a challenge. So once you did it was difficult making the move to someone new, in a new town. Still a wonderful groomer! I feel terrible about the problem that Vivian had with this business, but unfortunately that can happen anywhere. I have NEVER had a problem with this business and love the employees and management who take care of my dogs with professionalism and expertise. I had been taking my pug to another business prior to visiting Dirty Dogs...I can tell you that Vivian would have been utterly disgusted by THAT business indeed. Dirty Dogs is a wonderful groomer.
Buster loves Dirty Dogs Done Dirt Cheap I have been taking my dog Buster to Dirty Dogs for 5 years. He loves going there. His groomer does a beautiful job and he is always happy when I pick him up. The groomers are not behind closed doors, you can stand and watch them groom . Buster hates when I try to do his nails. You can walk into to Dirty Dogs without an appointment and get a nail trim for only $5.00 . He lets them do his nails and gets a treat when he is done. I will never go anywhere else.
BEWARE DROPPING OFF YOUR LOVED ONES I should have checked with the BBB (Better Business Burea) before taking my dog (who means everything to me) this incident occured in 2010 Oct, I didn't check with the BBB before dropping her off in their care. Superb! This is a wonderful groomer! I have NEVER been disappointed with the results. I have a greasy little pug dog named Jax who hates having baths and nails trimmed. He's a grumpy old man. Chris is the groomer that he sees at Dirty Dogs and she is always cheerful when I pick him up...if I had to put up with him I would not be so cheerful! The price is right, the staff is professional and happy, the results are superb! What more can I say. Don't take your dog (or cat) anywhere else!
Dirty Dogs I have been coming here for many years.They are all the greatest. My little dog gets crazy when we get close and he can see their building and I can hardly hold him back. My dog's groomer, Peggy, does excellent grooming on both of my kids. When one of my dogs died a few years ago, they sent me a beautiful card signed by everybody. It really made me feel better. They were so kind.
