I don't blame the bar, but I got there early on a Thursday for their open mic night and was first to sign up. I waited nearly 2.5 hours to get up to play however as the house band, one by one, let their friends and regulars up there ahead of me. I've seen this before, and I'm guessing that the house band that hosts this open mic does it for free. They usually turn it into a private jam session for they and their friends...
