Their products were great, but recently when I was looking into adding a system to my current vehicle I discovered they stopped letting End Users(aka, us customers who aren't "authorized dealers") have access to install manuals and firmware revisions for their devices. Terrible customer service. They say their auto starts have lifetime warranty....but. 1. Can't get in touch with them. I have been on phone hold for 30+ min at a time more than once and finally hung up with no answer. 2. The local dealer refuses to honor warranty because another dealer installed it. 3. Emailed using the web form more than a month ago...zero response. There are times where my Chevy truck will not start unless it is with the remote start. THEN put the key in and turn it. Horrible customer service. Can't get anyone on the phone and they won't return emails.
They sell auto accessories for your car. They hide under the DEI name which is why I am the first to review them as they don't want you to be able to contact them. They want you to go to a dealer so they have a buffer like most slimy company's do. This way the dealer has to face the unhappy customers instead of them. Lifetime warranty on some products. Only takes a couple of months to get a repaired unit back! Obviously they do not Vet their dealers as Auto Air in Everett, WA did a sloppy install that did not work correctly ... read more
