I visited this morning around 9:30am and I had a very mixed experience at this urgent care. While the doctor and front desk staff were excellent, the encounter with the medical assistant was extremely concerning. She appeared unprepared and unprofessional, even asking me which symptom I wanted to “focus on” rather than assessing my full condition. I visited on the 15th of Feb. 1. An elderly patient at the counter was informed that he could only discuss one issue at urgent care because they did not have all day to address all the concerns a patient has. The patient had two issues that were bothering him. 2. I went in for a suspected UTI. On pulling my chart the doctor informed me that I had high cholesterol and should have had a chat with my PCP.
