About this business

Real farmhouses probably do not have murals of farmyard life in the dining room, but they might very well have the checkered tablecloths and the home-style food that is served up in ample portions at this local favorite. The personal wait staff is always on the move with plates of homemade biscuits and gravy, pancakes, scrambled eggs and the other makings of a hearty country breakfast. For lunch, things take a more Marin turn with seared Ahi and Salad Nicoise served up along with the terrific burgers and fries. There is a se... read more

Breakfast is amazing. I have only been to Dipsea for breakfast but every time I have been there it has been just wonderful. The egg dishes are cooked perfectly (no overcooked tough eggs here), the waffles and pancakes are to die for, the baked goods are amazing - what else can I say. Get yourself over to Dipsea for breakfast.

Consistantly great food, everytime, always – Have eaten here at least 15 times for Brunch. Never disappointed, service could be a bit faster. This place can do no wrong, from their beautiful fresh fruit plate to their awesome omlette.

The Dipsea is Popular I've lived in the Tam Valley area for many years and the Dipsea appears to always be busy. Sometimes the lines stretch outside the door. I like the 'take me back home" country feel of the place, and the views of the water are beautiful and peaceful. I've enjoyed everything I've had there. The blueberry pancakes are a favorite of mine, and all their breakfasts are very good. My only complaint is that every time I've been there, service has been slow, sometime painfully. I've learned to "byo patience" and... read more

Worth the wait – I had been meaning to eat at the Dipsea for sometime, but due to my schedule (and theirs), it took quite some time. However, it was worth the wait. Went on a Saturday about 11:00 am. Parking lot was packed, we got the last space, but did not have to wait to get a table. Wait staff was surly and slow, (I was starving), but the food was fresh and delicious. I can overlook a grouchy waitress in order to eat great food. Had an omlette, btw, and better watch out when ordering speciality juices. EEEW!!!! Am lookin... read more

Ideal for breakfast/brunch I enjoy Dipsea's laid back atmosphere and extensive menu. They often have tasty specials, like recently I had the Organic Whole Wheat Pancakes with Berries and Granola. Definitely recommend.

Not a god choice – Brunch is barely adequate and the wait is very long.
