Overall decent place for the price/location. The upsides: it's clean, maintenance is pretty prompt, the space is nice with decent appliances. Downsides: the noise. You will hear in intimate detail your neighbors' going ons. This may be worse during COVID when bars are closed and people are partying until 3 am. Second - the complex supplies hot water and heat via old radiators. The radiators are mixed in performance. When it's really cold, you'll need a space heater or 2, which is fine for me - I run hot. Not sure why the poor reviews (perhaps they changed ownership and prior owner was a slumlord?). Apartments is clean, nice, comfortable, affordable and in a great location. When things break, maintenance fixes them. Flexible lease terms. I've lived here for about 3 months for context.

Lived here for almost 2 years. The building is nice but owner is a slumlord. Raising rent while completely ignoring the property. When I moved in the grounds were very nice and well maintained, but 4 months into my initial lease (sadly signed another after) the building was sold to another owner. Since then it was properly management company after property management company. There were over 5 different companies that were in change of the property while I lived there. Lived in the highlands for years and one thing is for certain - there are better options! Keep looking

I've lived here for almost a year now and I'm over it. The air doesn't work in the summer and the heat doesn't work in the winter. I can't wait until my lease is up!
