I like how it comes packaged. Takes up less room in the fridge/freezer and in the trash can. Most of the meals have been amazing. I think only one that we didn't particular care for. However, most are not "meals" but entrees. You can add sides to your order, but at an additional cost and the selection is limited. My only other con is that the majority of the meals are chicken and the steak is usually flank steak. I like chicken, but my husband doesn't love it as much so tires of it quickly and I'd like more of a variety. The... read more
Absolutely BEST customer service ever! I called them with a weird/complicated question and they went OUT OF THEIR WAY to make my order easy and simple. As in "oh, hey, this is outside of our normal operating procedure, but why don't you just do this and then I'll handle it on the backend." "Oh, hey, I called you back because I saw your order come through and you left a name out that I know from your complicated story that I was apparently actually listening to, do you want me to add her name as well?" Almost $100 for 4 chicken breasts, 2 steaks & some potatoes. I thought it was a "kit" but no vegetables and potatoes with one meal. Way too expensive for what I got.
Ordered for the first time for a Thursday delivery. Today is Friday at 7:28pm and the delivery has still not arrived. I spoke to a rep, Ken, who told me not worry reassuring me that they put extra dry ice in the box in box anticipating that this may happen. My box has been in transit since Tuesday. Was not offered a refund. By far the worst food delivery experience I have ever accountered.
I am so impressed with Dinner A’Fare! The food is absolutely amazing. We ordered 6 meals last month and loved every single one of them. Ordered 12 meals this month and so far so good. Being new empty nesters, I live a good home cooked meal but so tired of all the planning and coming up with recipes. This way I get to try new meals without the stress!! Highly recommend
By far the best meal delivery service. Food is high quality, delicious, unique. The customer service is amazing as well. I needed to change my order and they responded quickly and accommodated me. They still managed to get it out on time! I’ll never use anyone else.
