When we signed our lease with Dinkytown Rentals, we genuinely believed we were joining a community rooted in the values they promote. Unfortunately, Dinkytown Rentals is a very predatory business and takes advantage of the vulnerability of their tenants. Charging students over $4000/month for homes that are literally rotting from the inside out goes against everything their owners claim to stand for. When my roommates and I have had real safety and health concerns over our living situation, we have been ignored and often never responded to even months later. Terrible mice issue that never got resolved- contacted management multiple times. They sent someone who put out 2 traps total and never caught anything. We would see mice daily
We wanted to like Dinkytown Rentals considering Karen was very nice when we signed for our house, she gave my roommates and I $20 each to leave a five-star review (which in hindsight is an obvious red flag!) The first problem starts with Dinkytown Rentals resigning our house to other tenants without telling us.
