I’ve never felt more obligated to leave a review in my life. This place just gets it. I had vacationed to England this summer and was missing the food (the pub food in England is actually amazing…) Stumbled upon this place by searching “rarebit SF” and it might have been the best google of my life. TBH, I wasn’t expecting much eating British food but Dingles surpassed my expectations. It’s now the best restaurant I’ve experienced in SF in 2026. We ordered the bread (a must!), shrimp cocktail, scotch egg, fish and chips, beef pie, and toffee pudding. We loved everything and the service was great too. Only constructive feedback would be to get our drinks before apps arrived but everything was so tasty that we easily ignored that minor inconsistency. We can’t wait to go back and try more of what Dingles has to offer!
