This just topped my ranking for best burger in SF. Perfect mallard on the outside but then perfect medium rare on the inside. Looks small but is insanely rich so actually the perfect size. I will say the service seams a bit unpolished given the prices. Great pours of Guinness. The seafood pie was also solid and my second favorite thing might have been the malted butter that comes with the bread.
Phenomenal service and phenomenal atmosphere. Well done to the incredible staff.
I heard about Dingles and our visits for Sunday Lunch/Brunch did not disappoint! The food was high quality, the drinks (Pictured: Sticky Bobby) were 10/10 and service was 10/10. While enjoying my meal, a British guy, was ranting and raving about the Sunday Roast … going as far to say it might have been better than his mum’s. Go and try for yourself!
Best fish and chips I’ve ever had, hands down. The crispiness was off the charts. Everything else we got was also great. Highly recommended.
The food was excellent, and the atmosphere is elegant yet cozy. Having lived in England for several years, it’s great to have a place in SF serving elevated pub fare. Service was quick, and everything we tried was tasty and authentic. I didn’t try the cocktails, but the Guinness was good too. My only gripe is the pricing, hence the four stars - and yes, I’m used to Bay Area prices. $16 for a single Scotch egg is frankly unhinged, and nearly $40 for pie and mash or fish and chips feels unreasonable.
