Dr Dimmig is an exceptionally skilled and careing provider. He has managed my metabolic-origin eye disease and performed cataract surgery beyond my best expectations. His staff is also exceptional and very accommodating. I could not be happier or more confident in trusting my eye health to Dr Dimmig and his staff.
My agreement with Dr. Dimmig was to remove my cataract and implant a new lens to improve my distance vision. When the surgery was completed, my distance vision was blurry but my close up vision was good. When I questioned why this occurred, he said, "you are the one in ten of my patients that this happens to." My wife and I advised him that we did not recall him giving us this information or we would have been better prepared to accept the results. It appears his lens placement was incorrect
dr. dimmig was extremely gentle and thorough while performing a procedure to remove a growth on my eyelid. its been less than a week and my site is almost healed without any complications whatsoever. the staff was also extremely helpful with my 3 kids during the procedure:] (being a single mom with no-one to call creates many struggles with these kinds of things) and did all of this with a really great attitude. truly amazing.
Went to see Dr. Dimmig concerning my cataracts, and was greatly disappointed in his attitude and caring towards me. Because I was on Social Security, I felt he rushed through the exam, did not answer my questions fully.
He was very disrespectful said I was old when I was 59 ruined my eyes for the rest of my life I have had two retinal detachment nearly gone blind in my right eye twice because of his work. I am very nearsighted he did not explain the dangers properly he spent at least five seconds on it and took no responsibility for his work . I have had nothing but problems with my eyes and I could've gotten bye for another decade at least as the Cataracs were not bothering me. He caused me great harm.
3.5 Weeks for initial visit. 5 days for MRI. 2 days for follow-up. Manors were terrible, will not resolve purpose for the visit (fatty cyst(s) causing irritation in eye socket). His demeanor and friendliness is terrible. I will get a second opinion as he recommended, but it'll be from a doctor out of his sphere of influence. Then I'll be back for a refund & time wasted. Forcing a 2nd opinion is profitable for both doctors I'm sure, but I paid for a service and did not receive it. To Be Continued
