Recommendedthe ribs were excellent. the pulled pork was good. the brisket was lacking juice,but had good flavor and bark. I had the Ga fire sauce and it was good. maybe a little bit to much mustard for me though.

Sign outside reads voted best bbq in North Carolina evidently they’ve never eaten at Woodlands bbq in blowing rock. I had the bbq sandwich and I swear it didn’t taste not one bit like bbq.
In our search for the best BBQ in the area, a few people recommended Haywood Smokehouse. This was probably the best BBQ I've ever had. The brisket and turkey were amazing. This is not partially smoked meat covered with BBQ sauce - it's the real deal. The smoky flavor and spices were incredible, the meat was tender, and if you still want to add sauces they have many delicious ones to choose from. Personal favorite was the apple jalapeno. Excellent. The best barbeque we have ever eaten
I love BBQ, have my own smoker at home trying to chase the perfect meal...well I found it!! It’s at Haywood Smokehouse. So good while on vacation had to eat there twice. Had the best brisket I ever ate not one night but twice. A must have if you are in the area.
