I came in for Urgent Care as I have over the last several years. My personal Dr is Dr Tidwell who practices out of the Urgent Care. I was dropped of for a walk in visit like I have done before and I was told they do not take walk-ins. The website says "walk-ins are welcome". They said next available appointment in 2 hours. Empty lobby and parking lot. I saw 1 client. They couldn't even accommodate a Drs client with no ride. Needless to say, I won't be visiting here for care again and will be finding a new Dr.
Absolutely horrible phone service. I was kept waiting over 25 minutes and no one ever came on the line to help me. I had a simple question. This is how Dignity operates, its almost impossible to get thru to anyone there at the Atascadero office. Always Horrible patient service. I do not recommend Dignity. I do recommend UCLA. They are new in town and their patient service is top notch!!!
Jennifer Gingrich was so helpful in diagnosing multiple issues I had, one ruling out broken bone and another helping diagnose the source of back pain. In both cases, they were able to do an X-Ray same day. Quick, convenient, courteous and empathetic. Friendly, kind staff.
9/6/2024 This place needs to UPDATE their Google site in general. It would be REALLY HELPFUL to clarify how this place is set up to cut down on the confusion. They need to make it very clear that this place is 2 CLINICS IN 1. On one side is an independent doctor's office & on the OTHER side is the independent URGENT CARE CLINIC. The UC hours may or may not be correct on Google but I believe they are: 8–6 Mon – Fri and 9–4 on Sat. NOTE: THIS IS THE ONLY URGENT CARE IN ATASCADERO THAT ACCEPTS MEDICARE *AND* CEN-CAL!!!
