I knew this was a smaller hospital, so I expected there might be a bit of a wait. However, the experience was disappointing from the start. The receptionist didn’t seem friendly or welcoming toward me, though I noticed her interacting differently with others. It left me feeling uncomfortable and possibly judged. If you have children save your time and go to Jackson or Sonora! Took my child in with fever and rash and ended up waiting while someone else with just a tooth ache who came in well after us was seen first! This isnt the first bad experience we have had in regards to our child. Worst place to come to when Littles are involved. If I could.give zero stars I would!!!

To sum up my experience with Mark Twain: I had a shoulder lesion removed in March and came out of the surgery with my patient portal saying I had the mass removed and my gall bladder taken out. The receptionist wanted to argue that medical records needed to handle it. Almost 6 months later and I'm still trying to track down that they've recorded the payments correctly while my account is "on hold" and no one can actually find anything.
