lab is closed due to a fire
Though their website indicated that they were open, once at the site, a sign on the door indicated that they are closed because of a fire. No date for potential reopening was given.
I actually left after waiting for 30 minutes, during which time they called maybe 3 or 4 people. I asked someone who was leaving after having their blood drawn how long she'd been there, and she said two hours. Maybe that's unusual. I don't care to go back and find out...
I visited this lab to pick up a diagnostic kit ordered by my gastroenterologist. There was a long line of patients ahead of me, but I didn't need to have blood drawn. I only had to pick up the kit. When I explained this to the guy in red scrubs he rudely dressed me down and implied that I was trying to jump the line, even though I didn't need to wait in line to have blood drawn. I simply left and went to another lab (WestPac Labs, 285 Marina Street, Morro Bay). I won't go back to Dignity Health Labs.
