Waited 6 months for an appointment. When I finally got to see the doctor I was told nothing will be done for my discomfort unless I do their procedure and pay almost $2000 upfront in professional fees. I also was charged for that visit which just a wasted trip to do a bunch of questions with no results.

I have been going there for about 5 years and Dr Liz has been wonderful, all though I never see her for my regular appointments. I have seen Maureen every time and unfortunately she is not very personable. I have heard the back office staff make comments about her attitude. This tells you a lot about how she treats the office staff as well. I was having stomach issues last year, I had been to the emergency department and they suggested I get tested for SIBO and H. Would Not recommend, my appointment was at 11am and had to be there at 10:30 to do paper work. Literally took me 10 minutes to do my paperwork and give ID and Insurance Card. I drive all the way from scottsdale to this place because I was recommend. I showed up 10 minutes late because of an accident on the road. I show up at 10:40, after I give my info they look up and tell me I have to reschedule because I was 10 minutes late. They give no leeway. I wish I had read their reviews beforehand as the worst customer service I have ever experienced entering a business. Front desk was beyond rude and their staff were not far behind; they even defended their unprofessional staff after seeing for themselves! The good news is I have changed providers and very pleased.

I wish I could leave a zero. My experience with Dr Liz Cruz’s staff. I made a call to Ray to reschedule my one year follow up. Ray called back. Ray stated that he would reschedule my appointment, but if I wasn’t happy with the second provider, then I could just leave and find another upper G.I. doctor. I accepted the appointment. I called Ray back and told him I would not be coming back as wasn’t going to be a burden to him or Maureen. No one ever bothered to ask me if there was an issue or why I wanted another provider.
