Dr Kaplan was abrupt at first appointment but 6 Mos later was very nice and though. The nurse in the prep area, Megan, was great. Answered the questions she could, asked her to remind me I put my glasses in my slippers and she gave them to me when I woke up. Dr Kaplan came in BEFORE they put me asleep to be able to talk to him. All in all, GREAT experience. Better than I received at Loyola surgery outpatient.

I went there and the nurse couldn’t get the needle right and tried to stick me multiple times for anthesia still I stopped her and gave her nomore chances. Then the DR had to change something because of the medicine I was on and never explained what he was changing so I left. I never met anything like it in my life and then tell me I owe them 150 for leaving. What a joke of a place.
I’m genuinely surprised by the negative reviews posted about Dr. Shaw and his team. My experience has been quite the opposite. Dr. Shaw has consistently demonstrated professionalism, compassion, humor, and a clear dedication to patient care. He listens carefully, explains thoroughly, and treats his patients with respect. My mom also sees hiim and I have referred a few of my own clients to him, with the same feedback as I am leaving here.
