After having an EGD, espousal stretch and esophageal biopsy a few weeks ago I came in for a follow-up appointment. I was greeted by Christina at the reception desk at sign in. She was so very pleasant and welcoming. After I sat down to wait to be called in, I noted that she gladly assisted a new patient to fill out his paperwork. I recently had the profound misfortune of visiting the Digestive Disease Specialists on Cortez Road, and I can confidently say it has been the most abysmal healthcare experience of my life. The staff's sheer incompetence and blatant laziness are not just alarming - they are downright dangerous. Their unprofessionalism and utter disregard for patients' time and health are appalling. Beyond perplexed about how they are still in business!
I have been going to Dr. Z for a few years now. I appreciate his knowledge and understanding of symptoms. However, it appears that all the office wants is money. They will not just call to go over results. You must make an appointment which cost even more money for the visit. Most other Dr. I been to simply call you to go over unless there is an issue.
