Ordered these from West Marine, then told part of order shipping from 3rd party!! Paid 65 dollars shipping which it only cost 13.75 to return ship?? Got the brackets in first, still haven't gotten poles ordered on the 8th, but the brackets would not line up with the bolts on my Z Lock manual jack plate. Looks like good quality but need to do more research as I was told this would work on my jack plate!!
Purchased these as a Christmas gift last year but the anchors were not able to be used until this summer (BECAUSE it is Wisconsin in the middle of winter when purchased). The anchors did not work at securing a 28' Bennington Pontoon Boat plus one of boat mounts ripped out of boat and ruined platform. Since it was after 30 days of purchase (I mentioned earlier it is WI and purchased in the middle of winter as a Christmas Gift) nothing could be done, plus the anchors were used so you cannot return. By far the most convenient anchor system I have ever used. Installation of the bracket was easy and end result was very secure. We use our Dig-In Anchor in shallow rivers for fishing, shallow anchoring within intercostal waterways, and beaching the boat during family fun days. So much easier than dealing with heavy anchor and lines, making arrivals and departures a breeze.
