I’ve used this shop for years, but this last experience was a serious miss. I brought my 2017 Nissan Sentra in for a rattling noise and they had it for over a week. During that time, they replaced the motor mounts but never identified the actual cause of the issue. After picking the car up and taking it to Nissan, they performed an oil change and found the engine had less than a quart of oil in it, along with a timing cover leak and oil consumption. Update: Got my next car issues to this mechanic - I needed him to fix the glove box I took off and couldn't get back on trying to fix my front blower motor fan "Behind the glove box" the AI said! O'reileys showed me a video and made it look EEEAAASSSYYY. (and also when I realized the AI is STUPID! no need to take off the glove box.....) Then I tried to DIY and cut my leg and almost broke my car. Thank goodness R&D knows what they're doing! Took my Explorer here it was sputtering and losing power and I already knew it needed spark plugs and that they were finally starting to show the signs. I dropped it off and they had them replaced within a few hours. Since I use my car 100% for my job I really appreciate how quickly he got them swapped out. It was quick and straight forward. I may not have seemed like the happiest person that walked in there since I'm recovering from major heart surgery, but I was after I got my truck back and it's driving awesome. I wasn't sure it was going to be repairable. Very honest and the quality of work is unbeatable. My mechanic retired a few years ago. I've taken my vehicles other places, but the prices were to high and the quality of work not so great. Very happy to find R&D automotive. Great quality of work at honest prices.
