So I had a terrible day at Dicks Sporting Goods. I went with my younger brother to buy a small pocket knife for opening packages and stuff. I had a gift card, but "their" policy is that only (not the law) those only 21 years or older can buy pocket knives. So I was going to buy it with MY MONEY, well the lady behind the cash register denied me service because she guessed that I was going to give it too my brother after I OWN IT...I even let her know I AM buying it, not my brother....does that make sense?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!... read more
I was told today by a worker that the Mentor store did not have any Pelican 80 NXT kayaks in stock, but that Strongsville location did have a limited amount in stock. WITH THAT BEING TOLD, we drove 45 minutes out there only to be told they had none in stock either. The guy at the MENTOR location shouldn’t have told us strongsville location had in stock until HE made sure of it. Bad customer service.
Got shoes. Quick service. Was in and out of the store in 10 minutes.
It’s not Dicks that is the problem. It is the shipping company Select Express and Logistics they use for delivery and installation of their products. They have lied to us 6 times now regarding an installation of an in ground basketball hoop. We have taken days off work taking there word that they will show up this time. Dicks is too good of a company to be affiliated with this mess. DO NOT BUY A BIG TICKET ITEM FROM DICKS UNTIL THEY FIND A NEW DELIVERY COMPANY!!
