RecommendedHe is a good vet. I would recommend him cuz our cat Kane likes him and is willing to let Dr. Dirks give him his shots without hissing and biting.
To say the least, my chihuahua will not go to anyone & is not pleasant to deal with unless you are me or my grandson.. we could do not wrong in his eyes! With that being said he will let me stick my fingers in his mouth to brush his teeth, but trimming his nails is off limits! Everywhere else I have ever taken him, I have had to hold him tightly struggling between each nail, but these kind folks wisp him away & 5-7 minutes later they bring him out with shorter nails! WOW! Dr dirks could respect the test requested and not include unnecessary producst in his prescriptions. Our history shows an annual issue with bacterial infection... alimost to the day every year.... Yet he still charges me for tests for 30..00 plus probiotics for 30.00 that my dog already is prescribes on a regular basis. WTF... The prescription was for $7.50 The bill was 111.24????
A big thank you to Dr.Dirks for his services last weekend for our dog Jack. Although we were not his regular clients he met me within 15 minutes twice over the weekend. Jack’s a diabetic and had a very serious blood sugar drop. He brought him back and checked on him multiple times via text throughout the weekend. He also did multiple other tests to try to figure out some other problems. It was very appreciated!
Dr. Dirks and the staff are the best. They sincerely care about our dogs and know them by name. We have a 12 year old Lab , Koda, with allergy issues and they do their best to keep Koda happy and active. We greatly appreciate all they do.
Dr. Dirks and the staff at DCAC have always been wonderful, kind, and willing to go the extra mile to help care for their patients and clients. Will always highly recommend visiting them!
Dr Herder did a spay on my girl back in June. He was very good with her and patient with me, being a worried dog mom with lots of questions. She healed so nicely, not even a scar. Thank you for taking good care of my girl.
