Two years ago - Dickey’s has been my favorite BBQ place in Cleburne, that is until today. The old staff all knew me and took care of me with my food orders. There were two new women working there today that had not worked there previously. My “Big Brisket” sandwich came with only a very small amount of brisket between the buns. I told the lady working there that I had been going there since they opened and they normally put twice that much meat. She said she was sorry, but that is all they put now. this started as a great review but I had to change it. I ordered a baked potato with brisket. I guess they were out of the big potatoes because I got 2 small ones and I'm ok with that. the problem is that one was cooked perfectly but the other I had to finish baking in my oven. it took around 15-20 minutes before it was ok. I ordered extra sour cream but didn't get it, I ordered the sweet bbq sauce but didn't get that either. alot of the meat wasn't chewable unless your use to eating twigs. The staff work hard and fast! Honestly have never been more satisfied with a business like I have Dickies! The food is great!!
