Well imagine that. This location has finally closed. It was horrible.
Always a treat. I left Dallas in 1987 after 3 years of working in the area of LBJ and Coit where on Forrest Rd there was a Dickies I could go to for lunch. So, when I come across one in an airport, or like this restaurant, there is NO other choice. I actually hit this one around lunch time AFTER already eating lunch and got take out to take back to the hotel for dinner later and it was as good or better than I remembered. It is hard to find good SW BBQ anywhere in Florida where I live despite the advertising as such.
Why can't this location staff with more than one person? The service and food and everything would be so much better if the single person behind the counter had help. Without fail, overtime I pick up an order it take 30 minutes to even start the order AFTER I arrived. The staffing issue isn't just at a certain time of day. I've been there in the morning, afternoon and late night.
