We were shorted half our order to go. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
This place has really gone down hill! The tea, was sour, the brisket was chewy, the restaurant floors were dirty, and it was very warm inside. The fried okra is still good but not as good as it used to be.
The absolute worst Dickeys BBQ EVER . Do yourself a favor and drive to another part of town. This location will feed you old dried up food and send you on your way .
I went way out of my way—took an exit, crawled through traffic, and drove nearly 20 miles—all because Google said this barbecue spot was open. It was around 1 p.m., prime lunch time, and when I finally got there... surprise: it's not open. Place looks like it's been permanently closed for a while. No signs, no notice, nothing. Just a wasted trip and a bunch of time I'll never get back. Update your info if you're closed for good—people are still trying to come here.
