1st The ordering process was chaos and so loud in there that they can't hear your order. 2nd I ordered pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides. Not a good choice of bun for the bbq. There's no smokey flavor to the meat. I know I am from Kansas city area and have certain expectations about bbq. The meat failed considerably. Iake better bbq in my own back yard. So folks that's what I will be doing. No more Dickeys for me.

First time there. Had their ribs w/ 2 sides. Great ribs, just the right amount of smoke, tender and fell right off the bone. Not very busy because of the fair. It was quite enough that you could actually have a conversation without yelling, not like a lot of the newer establishments where you have to yell so someone can hear you. Service was quick, friendly, and happy. If you don't like this place I think you've got a serious problem. They do have a problem with the mac and cheese not very tasty.

We have eaten here quite a few times now, and I can say that we enjoy coming here. It's reasonably priced and we always leave full. Plus factor is that they serve fried okra!
