Ordered the 3 meat plate with Caesar salad and Mac..Chicken was dry and salad was brown and wilted. Hygiene of workers was not good..guy kept taking hat off and scratching head..didn’t see him ever wash hands!
I went in to pick up an Uber Eats order at the South Hill location. I went to the counter, saw it was pretty busy so I waited....and waited...and waited. The person working at the counter didn’t acknowledge me at all. No “who are you picking up for?” No, “I’ll be with you in a minute.” I was completely ignored. After a while I just canceled the order and left. I understand that things can be stressful when it’s busy, but it only takes a second to say,”I’ll be with you in a minute.” Basic customer service.
We have come to this location for months on Sunday. Today they all of the sudden don’t allow “deals of the day” to be purchased on Sundays. To feed my 2 teens and myself was $41! My son got a pulled pork sandwich meal and I had a one meat plate. My daughter got two meats but all the servings were super skimpy! A serving of waffle fries was literally 7 fries � If the servings had been substationally larger than the deals of the day I may could have justified our bill almost doubling! Very good BBQ, friendly, knowledgeable staff, love the beans. Had the baked potatoe, very large and extremely tasty especially with the works and topped with brisket meat.
I have had other Dickeys that were much better. Quality and taste was good but portion size for the price was very small. Other Dickeys I have been to have had twice the meat portion at least. Taste on the sides and the BBQ was on point but I didn't get a lot of bang for the buck!

Not half bad barbecue and reasonable prices! Simple, authentic family setting and good food!
I have used UberEATS many times to order from Dickeys. I ordered today and sat down to eat my BBQ chicken and I didn't have any BBQ sauce. I called and Dickeys told me if I wanted BBQ sauce that I need to specify that when placing an order. Never have I had to specify that I wanted BBQ sauce, never! So beware, if you want BBQ sauce from this BBQ place, you need to be sure to make it very clear when ordering! Very disappointed.

Always delicious. The pulled pork was very flavorful and the two sides I chose (potato casserole and broccoli salad) were great. They have our business and the staff is courteous too!
