Dickey's Barbecue Pit prides itself on authenticity, innovation and barbecue sauce, one store at a time. With roots in Dallas, Travis Dickey set out to perfect Texas-style barbecue. In 1941, Travis Dickey opened the first Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Dallas, Texas. Good food fast. Looking for a quick bite during a lunch break this place definitely hits the spot.
First time there and food is good.
I used to love this dickey's, its clearly under a new management that is trying to cut corners. Most of the good sides like onion tanglers and waffle fries are gone, the sauces are no longer the same and they are using a new type of bread which is terrible. Will never come back to this location.
