Dr. Dicesare was chosen to help us with family therapy in a high conflict custody situation. He stated that the past is irrelevant and we just need to move on, even if the past was traumatizing and behaviors of the past continue (meaning abuse and hostility prevalent in the present day). The man tries to peg families against each other and children against parents. The man is a total mess who just want s get paid.
Dr. Dicesare has been working with me and has been very supportive and helpful during a very difficult divorce that I am currently going through. He has helped me develop techniques for me to use when I am feeling overwhelmed by the situation. He is a very caring and supportive therapist who cares about his patients. I give him 5 gold stars.
I felt frustrated and unheard after seeing Dr. Dicesare. I didn't find it very helpful.
Demoralizing. Co parent had many issues ranging from multiple DUI's, to stealing from employers, to lying about his name on our marriage certificate, so he has 8 hours of visitation. Dr Dicesare minimized all of my concerns throughout the sessions and kept pushing me to trust co parent without requiring him to prove he was trustworthy in anyway. Dr. DiCesare is professional, smart, and kind. He is extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Though sessions can be challenging, I always leave his office feeling optimistic.
I would recommend Dr. DiCesare. He has been working with me for several years for pain management and related depression. I find him to be caring and insightful.
Dr. DiCesare is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and honest psychologist. He has been helping me for the past couple of years to deal with my depression, anxiety, and complex PTSD. He has worked with me utilizing a variety of methods tailed to my specific medical needs. I would undoubtedly recommend him to anyone—he has, speaking for myself, helped me ineffably.
Dr. Diceasare has been working with our college aged son for the last couple of years. We have seen considerable improvement in his abilities to deal with his anxiety and depression. He has also helped us as parents understand what our child is going through and help with his transition from high school to college. He has made our son feel very comfortable meeting with him and look forward to their interactions.
