First of all, it took 3 months to get an appointment with Dr. de Leon and by the time I went in for a visit, my eczema flare up had gone away. I wanted to discuss another issue (acne), but she wouldn't let me talk about more than one topic per visit. I've never had a medical provider say I can only talk about one issue per visit and insist me making another appointment to talk about another issue. Sounded like she just wanted to charge my insurance multiple times.
I was in and out for a dermatology appointment about acne/hyperpigmentation. She was pretty friendly and informative and prescribed me some things to help out. Will be back in 3 months!
I strongly urge you to consider seeking care elsewhere. I scheduled an appointment specifically for a Total Body Skin Exam (TBSE) — a preventive screening I’ve done annually for years, which is 100% covered by insurance regardless of deductible.
