Incompetent and unreliable. I had a primary care appointment scheduled for months. Received a call that this Mater is retiring a month after my new patient appointment and they were unable to get me in with any of the other physicians. Unreliable to say the least and incompetent because how long have you known about this retirement and why does your mistake mean I don’t get care. Would recommend going elsewhere if you actually want to see a physician.
Dr. Mater is an incredible PCP - she is very kind, explains everything well, takes her time with her appointments. She has same-day appointments available which is extremely helpful. Her staff is also great; they are helpful and kind. The wait is always very brief. overall cannot think of a single thing that can be done better.
I like her and she's given me good advice so far.
If you're looking for a pill-pushing, parental control averse, absolute nut job...this is your doctor. Nothing in her treatment protocols involving nutrition or wellness. When my wife told her we weren't going to allow her to push pills on our daughter, she told our little girl that in a year, she could schedule her own appointment without our knowledge or consent. NEVER go to this doctor. Absolute piece of trash.
