We have used Dr. Lowenthal for two of our children, and rate her extremely highly. The great thing is that she really hears what we have to say, and she is a great diagnostician. And her treatments really work! My girls are finally cough-free after not getting a diagnosis for years! She specializes in children with coughing problems, and it shows. We are so grateful we found Dr. Lowenthal.

Dr. Lowenthal helped my children so much! She's kind, super helpful and thorough. My kids love her, too and they're doing great.

I don't really trust Dr. Lowenthal to make any diagnoses. I went to her for years (don't anymore), and she would say every time I went that she didn't think I had asthma but prescribe more medication. It turns out that (I found this out from another pulmonologist)I do have asthma (testing proves it), it just doesn't respond to certain medications in the typical fashion. I have an extremely rare/ difficult to treat/ very dangerous (b/c it's mis-diagnosed so often)/ often deadly type of asthma.

Dr. Lowenthal is a pediatric pulmonologist. She can be a bit condescending, but is generally very helpful and quite resourceful.
