Very rude and unprofessional reception staff. They are misinformed about my insurance and they took this out on me. No need to figure out the insurance situation as we will be seeing a new dentist that hires staff that are not rude and condescending. Not very appealing to have rude people as your customer service staff especially when it is a child focused practice.
I have been taking two of my children to Bay Pediatric dentist for a few years, as my third child was turning 3, they recommended he start being seen as well. They scheduled his appointment 6 months in advance. We went to the appointment and a few weeks later I received a bill for 180$. He was not added to our insurance as I forgot. The dentist would not return my phone call and refused to take responsibility since their policy states “we are an established family”, even though my child WAS in fact a new patient. Dr. Diana and her team are wonderful! My children have been patients for years and we have had smiles and professionalism all around.
My daughter had a lot of cavities. One side of her mouth was done by Dr. Kyrkos, the other side was done by her partner Dr. Milton. I have never experienced such disregard for a patient as I saw with Dr. Kyrkos. My daughter was in a lot of pain while Dr. K worked on her. She responded with "we'll stop when I see tears." Then they gave my daughter a stuffed animal to hold because the dentist and her assistant were afraid my daughter would dig her nails so hard into her hands she would bleed because of the pain. Dr. Kyrkos is absolutly the best with kids!! My daughters all love her. She uses the latest technology and my children have never been uncomfortable with any dental work at this office. Painless, gentle, and caring!!
Dr. Kyrkos is absolutely wonderful! She has a very comforting way with children and is very patient and understanding. Our 6 yr old daughter looks forward to each visit and wishes she could go more often. Our 4 1/2 yr old son is Autistic and she is always very patient and understanding with him. Her staff is friendly and treats you like a friend and not just another patient walking in the door.
