A greedy developer and former ponzi schemer (omni) has taken over Diamondhead and dues have increased to over $100 a month, we have no amenities for the dues you pay, no police protection whatsoever and roads look like land mines exploded everywhere. It gets worse by the day. Do not buy in Diamondhead, you will regret it.
Dont even live beyond the gates yet I shell out 1300 a year in dues to them for nothing.....2 years on and the pool has been open 1 month, the tennis courts needed resurfacing 10 years ago, and oh yeah add another 1200 a year in dues to the manor. Poa and hoa should be illegal, its a scam you can not avoid, so do everything in your power to avoid this one.
Lovely area and some great people. The community politics are a stain on an otherwise wonderful place
