I bought a Rinnai tankless gas water heater in June 2024. I have called repeatedly to get this piece of garbage repaired. It comes up with an error code of 12, which according to Dial, is an ignition error. What am I supposed to do, get out of a cold shower, get dressed, call Dial and wait hours for them to show up while leaving the water running. The duct work installer, Dial Duron, has been out to my house 4 times to install new duct work, replacing the 22-year-old duct work that they suggested I remove. Keep in mind, pictures are the work they did, not the 20 year old duct work to be fixed. Also, wet mastic is 2 weeks after applying. I should mention I turned my AC to 82 for a week in order to help mastic dry. Did not work. I was told keeping my air at 72 when I am at home is too cold. Needed a simple cartridge filter change in guest bathroom shower. The part is less than $40. They charged $512 and it took 15 minutes. The two service guys were nice and polite. But this company price gouges. Stay clear unless you like paying a plumber an effective rate of $2,048 per hour for a simple job. Very sad business practice and not one that will encourage repeat business.
