Office was able to get myself and husband in very quickly for appointments. Doctor listened and didn’t rush our appointment. Front end staff was friendly and helpful.
DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS, DOES NOT DO FOLLOW UPS, DOES NOT KEEP UP WITH ANYTHING.... SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND GO TO ANOTHER ONE.
Overall lack of communication and patient care did not meet expectations. Not worth the 35 minute drive one way to office for disapointing experience. Pros: in house blood labs were easy and painless (phlebotomist was nice had a light hand). Thorough intake forms and medical history taken. A few years ago I came to this office for hormone replacement, and Dr. Ryan told me that trans people come from hundreds of miles away specifically to receive his care. Unfortunately, like most working endocrinologists, his knowledge of hormone replacement boils down to an 80-page document called the WPATH Standards of Care. At the time of my visit the SoC was nearly 20 years out of date, and recommended treatments which have been shown not to work based on studies that failed replication in the early 2010s. I really appreciate Dr Ryan's approach to treating diabetes. Sometimes getting through to the office, getting lab results or a call back can be a hassle.
