I totally appreciate how very thurough that Dr Wigand is. No one else wanted to deal with my thyroid appropriately, and I am so thankful to have him as my doctor! He is fabulous!
I absolutely love Dr. Wigand. He has been managing my thyroid issues for the last 4 years. He also very generously monitors other issues I have such as low Vitamin B and D. He is such a kind man and he honestly cares about how you feel and how he can make you better. I highly recommend him. He is seriously one of the smartest doctors I know!
Dr. Wigand is hard of hearing and does not always use his hearing aid so be prepared to raise your voice as he will do the same. I don't generally care to yell out what is wrong with me for everyone to hear. I felt very uncomfortable with Dr. Wigand as he examined my genitals without using gloves. When I asked him why he did this, his only answer was that he did not use gloves for genital exams. I would advise anyone to avoid this person as apparently when he graduated from med school in the 60's it was Ok to touch patient's... read more
