I will say Dr. Verma is a great doctor but the staff/receptionists that work there are not professional. They seem to not know what they are doing and communicating is pretty bad. I have been seeing Dr. Verma for years now but I have always had a problem with the staff there. It took two weeks to get a new prior authorization form that was needed for my insurance company. I had an appointment with Dr. Verma that I confirmed twice - including a voicemail confirmation from their staff. When I showed up, I was told the appointment had been cancelled because I “didn’t confirm,” even though I had proof of the voicemail. When I showed them proof of confirmation, they said it was an error /communication gap in their system but they couldn’t help me. I have been disappointed with the service I have received from Dr Verma's office. It was recommended that I start using a Dexcom metering device. The prescription was sent to my local pharmacy but the insurance has denied the request until a prior authorization request was completed. I have called the office several times requesting that the doctor contact Pharmacy and they have refused to do so. Their recommendation was for me to pay for the unit out of pocket.
