I have been disappointed with the service I have received from Dr Verma's office. It was recommended that I start using a Dexcom metering device. The prescription was sent to my local pharmacy but the insurance has denied the request until a prior authorization request was completed. I have called the office several times requesting that the doctor contact Pharmacy and they have refused to do so. Their recommendation was for me to pay for the unit out of pocket. Dr. Verma is wonderful! She really listens and explains things in a way that’s easy to understand. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I always feel well cared for. I highly recommend the Diabetes and Hormones Center!
I have overheard several phone calls that my mother (a patient) had with Dr. Verma and the office staff. The staff doesn't have an ounce of customer service training and the office, overall, is poorly run. If you want to feel like a number, not a patient, and receive the minimal amount of human care and time with your doctor that insurance allots for, then this is the doctor for you.
One star is way too much for this place. The worst person to be called a doctor. Lack of knowledge. Stay away from this scamer. After an appointment with this person verma. My credit card information was kept without been informed, and an appointment was scheduled without my consent as a consequence, a payment was processed without my authorization. This place should be close. Disgusting
Dr. Verma is everything that you would hope for in medical provider would be. She is understanding she listens, and she will find answers because of her ability to listen, and to put into action steps for diagnosis and treatment. For the first time, a provider saw and treated me as a human being who was desperately seeking better health. She was able to find out the cause of much of much of my health problems, things that other doctors either dismissed or didn’t test for in the past 30 years.
