Zero Communication My wife and i got married 4/4/09 and Di Barolo's was the bakery used by Falcone Catering. Our cake consultation went great and we ordered a 4-tier cake each w/ different flavors and a very nice design. Unfortunately, the cake at the wedding was only 3-tiers as the caterer made changes without telling us. My complaint is that we received no communication from Di Bartolo's either advising us of any changes to our design and if we had, we would have paid for any extra tier and the flavor we selected for that ... read more
Di Bartolos is the best For our wedding this is where we got our cake and it was great. Ever since then I stop here on the way to work for fresh donught and pastries and they are the best. The staff is always so friendly there
Not so great I ordered a sheet cake from them for my son's fourth birthday. They were so incredibly helpful with the selection - it was the first time I'd ordered a cake with any sort of picture printed on it. When it came time for pickup, I had a large bout of sticker-shock, and then the cake was unanimously voted as being terrible by the party guests. It was dry and tasteless, and the buttercream icing had a mouth-feel of being full of shortening.
Great Cakes and Treats A++ We received our wedding cake here and we couldn't have been happier with it. It was so delicious and looked just like the picture. After the wedding we went back there just for a cookie and wound up spend another $40 on more desserts. YUM YUM PROS: great food, good ingredients CONS: bad location, no parking
